In this inspiration, we made 5 different styles of long necklaces which are very popular and trendy at the moment.
Obviously there are endless styles and designs of necklaces like these, and even more ways to wear them, here are just some of them to get you inspired!
Black & White beads necklace
Designing: This necklace is inspired by the black and white pearl channel necklaces, but this one is made with black leather cord and natural white beads with some dangling shiny silver flower charms. A cute necklace with classic colors to wear casually.
How to wear: You can hold it in the middle, fold it in two, then put it around the neck, and then pull the edges through the loop that you have on the other side.
Fancy crystal necklace
Designing: This blue silk cord is very nice element to make as a long necklace around the neck, with two different large SW crystals in different colors making an asymmetric elegant look with long dangling tassels at the edges.
How to wear: You can make one circle around the neck and place the crystal in different heights to make a look which is modern and very classy.
Boho style leather necklace
Designing: A necklace with a cool bohemian style which is made with a long suede leather cord, and some metal elements and beads that add a touch of color at the edges of this simple daily looking necklace.
How to wear: You can make two or three rounds around the neck, and then tie a nice knot in the front side and let the edges be the decorated element that’s moving all the time.
Modern, clean style necklace
Designing: A more mature and sophisticated look can be made very simply with a velvet cord and metal shapes of pendants like these large oval and star golden pendants with a single crystal at the end, just for fun.
How to wear: You can take the cord and make one loop around the neck and then place the smaller pendent through the larger one (in this case the star was pulled through the large oval pendant) and this way it will stay close.
Chain and crystal necklace
Designing: This necklace is made with a very long piece of gourmet chain and a piece of 29ss cup chain in the middle to make a center colorful choker with matching red and pink tassels dangling on each side. There is a clasp hanging behind the tassels on one side so you can wear it also as a wrap around bracelet.
How to wear: You can place the cup chain in the center of the neck and the start making circles with the extra chain and leave the tassels to move in which height you like.
If you want to wear it as a wrap around bracelet just place the cup chain on the hand and start wrapping all the chain until you get to the edge where you connect the clasp to one of the loops at the end.
