In this tutorial we would like to show you how to make one of this year’s hottest trends in jewelry - the chunky chains look. Inspired by large metal chains we came up with two variations that show how you can achieve different styles just by changing the color of crystals and metal plating.

Asymmetric Combination + Mixed Metals - Casual Look
For our first look, more casual and wearable during the day, we paired large Blue and Dark Purple crystals with clear and golden ones to marry the different plating colors in one harmonious style. This combination of Large Crystals and Bold Metal Chains with irregular shapes and asymmetric details creates a one of a kind, designer piece of jewelry.
This look is all about the Metal Elements and Colors. Mixing and matching more than one metal finish is a fresh and exciting option and we would love for you to incorporate it into your own creations.
Various elements + large links - Golden look
The second look is all about the yellow gold metal color which is your go to color when it comes to the chunky chain style. These necklaces and bracelets are made with different variations of oval and round metal elements, round crystal placings, single links from various chain types that are put together to form a bold and utterly new chunky chain. The main large necklace is made of eight different elements. As long as they are all the same color, it
doesn’t really matter how many elements you use. The final design look will be comprehensive and fit for any special occasion.
