GITA's settings and SWAROVSKI Beads

Creating unique styles using Swarovski Bicone Beads and Gita's specially designed connectors

GITA's settings and SWAROVSKI Beads

New way of beading work with GITA’s metal components

Beading work needs a lot of patience, accuracy and love for handcrafting. This is a true joy for every inspired designer to spend time joining one bead with another, gradually creating a new delicate piece that later can proudly be claimed as a handmade work of jewelry art. But what would you say if we were to tell you that here, at Gita, we have come up with the brand-new product ideas with a stronger than ever structure and even more beautiful and intricate designs?

Over the years we have always proved to deliver the most innovative trends and styles providing our customers with the best and the most reliable products, and stood together hand in hand with designer newbies and professionals.

With a selection of more than 18,000 styles to choose from, Gita is not only one of the largest companies in the jewelry bases segment but also a proud authorized retailer of SWAROVSKI crystals. We work for the best and with the best.

We have always been around when you dreamt about bringing your ideas to life and, this time, we would like to try something new and exciting that hasn’t been done before.

Mixing and matching beading and Gita’s bases

You already make beaded jewelry and you already have your own style. By adding Gita's bases to your beaded jewelry you can easily add to the glittery look of Swarovski crystals, creating a unique and fashionable look. Gita’s design team has come up with a simple yet elegant way of mixing and matching our bases with Bicone Beads. The process that was so complex and unreliable before is now effortless and fully open to your imagination.

It is easy to be creative with Gita getting to the right look you want to achieve. Go from a luxurious style with a gold plating to making a dramatic statement with a black metallic option.

Adding Swarovski sparkle

Incorporating high quality, fashionable and eye-catching Swarovski crystals into your designs is an easy task when you use our wide collection of connectors and stone settings. Gita coupled with Swarovski offers endless options for your creativity.

A large center stone can be perfectly enhanced by hundreds of tiny glass beads around it. The contrast between small and large stones beautifully highlights the individuality and brings balance to your jewelry piece.

Gita offers a large variety of Swarovski crystals in different shapes, sizes and colors. They can be sold individually or in bulk quantities. Just recently Swarovski has launched their latest crystal colors collection with beautiful shimmering crystals featuring stunning shades. Be sure to check them out here.

Better technical solutions for beaded jewels

One of the biggest challenges in beading work is to ensure that your delicate all-beads jewelry piece is solid and feels strong enough to wear without worrying that you can lose a piece of your lovely creation. The last thing you want is for a string to break or a crimp bead to slide from its original place.

Now we would like to demonstrate how metal elements can be effectively used in your work with beads in a way that can dramatically change your approach in jewelry making:

1. Using metal connectors will provide the best support for holding up beads in your handcrafted jewelry piece. Metal connectors are beautiful decorative elements and they provide a firm support for the hundreds of beads.

2. It is easier to start your beading work around a solid metal frame. Having a good starting point will facilitate your creation process.

3. Combining a large, colorful Swarovski element with Bicone beads enhanced by a massive decorated frame is the easiest way for your handmade creation to stand out and be truly unique. This approach in jewelry making cannot be found elsewhere.

It is a true definition of an artwork to congregate numerous small beads into one large piece of handmade jewelry. To successfully accomplish this, one needs to come up with a reliable and practical solution.

It doesn't require previous knowledge

If you are here, you clearly have skilled hands and good eye for accuracy.

Using crystals is not that different than using beads. It requires passion for handcrafting and, certainly, precision and attention to the details.

You wouldn’t need any special tools for it. Reliable silicon jaw pliers for bending the metal prongs on top of the crystal is all you need.

Acquiring the technique of embedding crystals takes just a few minutes to learn. Place the crystal in the stone setting and bend metal prongs or, when needed, glue your crystals. The only trick here is to make sure you are using a professional crystal glue to preserve the clarity of your stone.
