Fancy up your SW jewelry with small metal casting elements

Fancy up your SW jewelry with small metal casting elements

Fancy up your SW jewelry with small metal casting elements

In this article we would like to show you a really cool designing trick that can really take your Swarovski crystal jewelry a few steps up!

The point of this look is to use a large empty stone setting for round, oval, octagon or any other large sized crystal, that has a sparkly frame of Swarovski rhinestone around it.

In the center of this setting, we would embed a large opaque or opal crystal and the trick is to glue a small size metal casting element with plenty of sparkly Swarovski crystals, onto the flat surface of the large crystal.

The large crystal is actually the matt background that gives the metal element that place to show its beauty wit all of its sparkly SW crystals.

The way to make such jewelry is:

Start by embedding all the small crystals needed for the metal elements with the CG610 Swarovski glue that is perfect for tiny crystals and let it fully dry.

Now you can use the prong pusher to embed that large crystal into the stone setting with SW rhinestone.

After you embed the large crystal, I would recommend you to use the E6000 glue for gluing the metal element on top of the crystal, it will hold it strongly and will be dry in just a few minutes.

So, next time you are looking to give your jewelry the extra sparkle that will make it look wow, try this tip we showed you!
