Pass the leather cord through the tube of the crimp element  
Place the the element where you want in your design  
 
Use a plier tool in order to close the tube element on the leather cord  

Press the tube in order to close it on the leather cord

 
 

Press gently so you make sure the shape of the tube is round and nice closed
