step 1: preparing your materials
Prepare your work environment. Organizing your tools and materials will help
you work faster and more efficient.
You can choose a few different kinds of chains to create this necklace.
In this tutorial we used this chains:
Flat 4mm Cream with Gold Gourmet Chain : 42cm long
Flat Gourmet chain 4.5mm in rose gold : 43cm long
Flat Gourmet chain 4.5mm in silver : two parts of 12cm each
3.8mm Round loops chain : 55cm long
Step 2: hanging the chains
Arrange the chains starting with the shortest that will be the inner one.
Hang each chain with it's own 6mm jump ring on the big 8mm jump ring.
The third chain is a cup chain and two part of gourmet chain,it is connected together with 5mm jump ring on each side.
Close and open the jump rings using two plier tools.
Pay attention to the order of hanging of the chains.
Also connect the clasp and an extra jump ring at the end.
Step 3 : hanging the pendent
Find the center of the round loops chain and hang the pendent using two 5mm jump rings.
Step 4 : setting the stones
Place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the plier tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.
Bend the prongs gently to make sure you don't damage the stone or crack the plating in this process.
