step 1: preparing the materials
Prepare your work environment, by choosing the metal elements you want to us, and a colorful stones to your liking.
Silver flat gourmet chain – two pieces of 9cm each.
Silver oval loops chain – two pieces of 19cm long each.
step 2 : connecting the chain
In this necklace, the engraved oval chain is used only as separated loops that well connect the small setting elements together.
Use two plier tools to open and close the big loops of the chain.
We need 6 loops from this oval chain.
To close the necklace base open 6mm jump rings and connect the gourmet chains to the last oval loops on each side.
Connect the clasp on one end of the gourmet chain and an extension chain on the other end.
At the very end of the chain hang a swarovski crystal and a branded label.
Step 3 : hanging the center piece
The small oval loop chain is connected with 5mm jump rings to the jump rings of the gourmet chain.
Open 5mm jump rings and use them to connect the center piece to the chain on each side.
Step 4: setting the stones
You can take a toothpick and put a small piece of soft wax at the top – this well be great to hold and place the stones to there place.
Now, place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the setting tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.
Bend the prongs gently to make sure you don't damage the stone or crack the plating in this process.
