A guide for preparing Easter jewelry

A guide for preparing Easter jewelry

A guide for preparing Easter jewelry

Towards the up and coming festive Easter celebrations, we have prepared a short guide for preparing Easter jewellery. Spring is in the air and we are going to "Easter" up your jewellery designs! If you still haven't begun to design your Easter Jewellery, here are a few tips that might help you along the way, when designing Easter jewellery pieces for you and your customers to enjoy. We will discuss the most popular spring 2016 colours and simple elements you can add to spice up your jewellery pieces and make them stand out from the rest!

Easter is one of the holiest celebrations of the year for Christians. It is the day celebrated to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and is usually celebrated with the help of the Easter bunny and his basket of colourful candy! Almost all of the Easter customs are a "salute to spring" marking the re-birth of nature and of Jesus of course. The word "Easter" is named after Easter, an Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring.

People celebrate Easter all around the world, each according to their beliefs and religious denominations. Christians commemorate Good Friday as the day Jesus Christ died and Easter Sunday as the day that he was resurrected. Today on Easter Sunday, many children wake up to find baskets of candy left by the Easter Bunny! He has hidden the eggs that they decorated earlier that week for them to find in a traditional Easter egg hunt. The child who finds the most eggs wins a prize.

Like any other holiday, you can create a unique line to suit the holiday spirit. Easter is most defiantly the most colorful holiday out of them all, with mainly pastel colors dominating. Other motifs that usually accompany Easter are bunny's, eggs and crosses, consider using them when preparing necklaces or charm bracelets as Easter, like any other holiday, is the perfect time to give a meaningful gift to loved ones. Mother-daughter Easter necklaces are a sweet gift for two; while a cross pendant is sure to delight those who want a bolder way to commemorate the resurrection.

Fashion wise, Easter 2016 is moving away from the candy-color pastels and sherbet hues towards subdued, earthy tones: burnt apricot, forest green, pale yellow, rusty reds, and antique cream. This year's spring hues may not be super upbeat, but they are flattering on most skin tones. Of course pastel colors still remain the favorite, with everything from blues, greens, and yellows. You can also combine light colors and pristine whites with pastel pinks and baby blues.

If you are looking for some special Easter jewelry ideas, here are a few ideas you can make with Gita Jewelry - a mixed colored Swarovski pearls or a fruity hue made of natural beads to make bright and enticing bracelet or necklace celebrating spring for kids or adults. You can also make items with bunny, egg or cross charms, combined with our colorful Swarovski crystals. Easter is also a fun occasion to spoil your customers with gifts.

A necklace with a small bunny or egg charm will do the trick! Whatever you have planned for Easter 2016, we look forward to seeing your unique designs and ideas on Instagram and other social networks, just don't forget to tag us so we can enjoy them too!
